IP-V was formed in 2003 by telecom industry veterans; the 4 founders have over 120 years of telecom experience.
IP-V’s founders have extensive backgrounds whose credentials include building a coast to coast digital switched voice network, designing the original cable internet structure and consulting to major carriers on data and wireless architecture and design as well as on performance and trouble situations. They have held senior positions with major carriers and have founded very successful companies.
IP-V’s team has combined all of the flavours of DSL, frame, ATM, T1/E1, TLAN (fiber Ethernet extensions), wireless and satellite access onto MPLS and ATM backbones, in conjunction with bridges, IP/ISDN gateways and ISDN switches to provide complete solutions for converged and stand alone networks.
IP-V’s team has inter-networked multiple IP carriers into seamless QoS solutions in both the video only and converged network spaces to satisfy ‘community of interest ‘requirements
Through applying this engineering background IPV has built the Connectivity+ platform to bridge networks, technology, standards and security to provide seamless real time (video, VoIP) interaction
